The Backyard Treasure

The Backyard Treasure is a play written just for children. Designed for kids ages 4-8, this interactive story is enhanced through audience participation. Throughout the show our storyteller will need 'help' advancing the plot, requiring the children's creative input to continue. The children's suggestions will shape the story, creating a fun and unique experience for all. While elements of each performance may be unique, each show is the same in teaching the values of sharing and the power of being kind.

The Backyard Treasure

Madcap's newest creation for kids, The Forest of No Rules is an interactive tale for children ages 4-8. A mix of scripted and improvised dialogue and action, The Forest of No Rules helps teach children the value of following the guidelines and rules enforced by their parents. Just like last year's Backyard Treasure, every show is unique as it is shaped by the children's suggestions. The Forest of No Rules is fun for children and parents alike.

Featuring master magician Mark Strivings, the Madcap Magic Matinee is an hour of fun and amazment for the whole family! Thursday afternoons throughout the Summer, Mark will add his special twists to the familiar while dazzling you and your kids with new illusions created for this show. Watch closely as Mark Strivings takes us back to a time when wonder and excitement are as easy to find as a rabbit in a hat.

Master magician Mark Strivings teaches kids how to perform magic in each session of this special four-week camp. Beginning in June, Mark will teach your children how to create amazing illusions they can do at home for your family and their friends.

Classes are 90 minutes long and designed for ages 6-12. All materials will be provided. Each session will then culminate in a magic show featuring all of the campers.
